How far do you book out? Typically couples book my services 8-12 months out. I only cover one full wedding per weekend to ensure my couples get me at 100% so I always advise reach out sooner than later.
What do we get after the wedding? Every wedding comes with an online gallery with all your final images to view & share with family & friends. Clients also receive high resolution image files of their final images with reprint rights. All images delivered have been edited and are print ready. Typical delivery is 8 weeks following your wedding.
How would you describe your style? I am a documentary photographer at heart and the majority of my coverage is in that style. I'm low key and prefer to capture the moments, laughter, and joy of the day in an unobtrusive way. That being said I do love capturing beautiful details and creating relaxed portraits during those times of the day.
How many images will we get? Every wedding is different and I never set out to deliver a certain number of images. A typical 8 hour wedding ends up with 700-800 final edited images.
We are not very comfortable in front of the camera? Every client I have ever photographed has said the same thing. I believe every person can take a beautiful photo. All it takes is good light, a little direction, and a little laughter. My style for portraits is to find some beautiful light and instead of posing, let clients naturally interact with each other and then offer a little direction, a little laughing, and a little movement. What you get is beautiful, relaxed, portraits every time.
Do you have back-ups in case something happens to your gear? Sure do, my back-up have back-ups. I shoot all weddings with two cameras on me at all times but have two more stashed away in case of something.
My Venue is asking for a "Certificate of Insurance" from my vendors? I am fully insured and covered. I can have my company send a certificate to anyone within a day.
How much time will we need for portraits, when should we have you start? All weddings are unique and different and I work with each couple to offer suggestions on their wedding day timeline to ensure we have the time to get the very best photos. A wedding day goes by in a blink of an eye and I want my clients to get amazing photos, but to also be able to enjoy their day and not spend hours upon hours for posed photographs.
We love your work, you sound perfect, how do we book? To book any date I require a signed contract and a $1000 deposit. Due to the nature of this profession I can not hold any dates until those two things are received. I am only an email away and respond to messages with in 24-48 hours.
